Clean Harbors Fort St John, BC is looking for LOCAL Sour Fluid Operator to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for operating units in performing Daylighting and Excavation activities associated with pipeline, construction, utility and oil terminal work with wages starting from $40.00/hr. This position does entail local work as well as overnight work.

- Drives and operates Tanker Units;
- Performs pre and post trip inspections;
- Performs roadside repairs, as necessary;
- Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis;
- General clean-up and maintenance of units upon completion of the job;
- Speaking to Clients about job scope and how job is progressing;
- Local Work;
- Class 1 Commercial License required;
- Ability to drive a manual transmission required;
- Previous experience operating a tanker is required;
- 2 years of experience working with sour fluids;
- Previous experience in oil and gas is strongly preferred;
- Previous experience Utility locating an asset;
- Safety Tickets an asset (i.e. First Aid with CPR, H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Arrest);
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
