Position: Program Planning Implementation Specialist Teacher (Supporting FHCS, NRCS, CDES, CAMS (Home School), ACES)

Reports to: Coordinator of Student Services

Employee Group: NSTU

Qualifications, Experience & Ability
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Education Degree; or a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Diverse Learners (SLDNE), Inclusive Education (Curriculum & Instruction), or a related field such as Literacy, Numeracy, or Technology.
  • Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of successful classroom teaching; 2 years of support teaching experience (Resource, Learning Centre, Learning Disabilities Support); 3 years of experience with TIENET for Program Planning and developing Individual Program Plans.
  • Minimum Ability: Demonstrated through interview, assessed on ability to handle situations effectively. Internal and external applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%.
