About The Role

For the initial ramp-up phase of our North American operations, we are looking for a passionate Senior Processes and Organization Specialist who wants to CELLebrate in fast-paced and fast-changing environments. As part of the ramp-up team, you will work closely with local PowerCo team members, our PowerCo SE team members at Headquarters in Germany as well as colleagues from the Volkswagen Group Canada in Ajax, ON. Reporting to the Senior Manager Central Functions & Value Chain Strategy team, you will set up Processes Management processes required to support the business as needed.

This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independent supervision of process and system projects within the department in close cooperation with the adjacent departments and IT
  • Design of local projects and support the global project drive using the network with the goal of efficient implementation using state-of-the art technologies
  • Identification of optimization fields in the project
  • Active participation and co-creation in the development of new strategies within the procurement operations
  • Development and assurance of efficient process and system solutions in collaborate with IT
  • Participate in ensuring that all projects and processes in procurement adhere to the requirements of law, compliance and sustainability
  • Create, prepare and presentation of reports
  • Work closely together with colleagues from the central Process Management
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, particularly in relation to process and system understanding.
  • Leading the execution of Continuous Improvement Processes in collaboration with interface partners

What You Bring To The Team

  • University degree in business administration, economics, business or similar field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Generalist roles with proven experience in identifying, managing and mitigating risks
  • Strong knowledge of process management principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of general process within the battery manufacturing business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to present information on top-management level
  • Experience with data analytics, leveraging insights to drive decision-making and improvements
  • Solid project & process management skills
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements, optimizing workflows and outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and implementation skills, consistently delivering solutions to challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and work cross-functionally across teams and departments.
  • Customer-focused, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
  • Task-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • High stress tolerance, thriving in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
