Parks Canada Jasper National Park of Canada (Alberta) GS-BUS-02, GS-MPS-04 Anticipatory (Summer 2025) term and seasonal appointments of various durations. Experience Canada by joining the Parks Canada Agency! Closing date: 8 January 2025 - 23:59, Pacific Time.

Duties:

Visitor Facilities Attendant (Stream 1):

Facilities Attendants clean and maintain Parks Canada Agency visitor facilities/buildings and grounds. They should work well with others, take pride in their work, and contribute to creating memorable experiences for visitors.

Visitor Services Attendant (Stream 2):

Campground Attendants provide information and education about camping in the national park, responsible for cleaning facilities, conducting facility rounds, and collecting fees.

Gate Attendants welcome visitors, collect revenue through park passes, and provide safety and park information.

Congestion and Compliance Attendants direct traffic, interact with visitors, and educate the public on park rules.

Conditions of employment:

  1. Reliability Status security clearance.
  2. Valid Class 5 driver’s licence or equivalent.
  3. Willingness to work overtime and shift work.
  4. Must be able to work in various terrains and weather conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience (Both Streams):

  1. Experience in providing cleaning services.
  2. Experience providing information and service to the public.

Knowledge (Both Streams): Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
