Position Overview

Our Sales Ambassadors craft exceptional lifestyle experiences for clients, embodying the brand's sophisticated style. Passionate about Ralph Lauren, they leverage their expertise to build personal connections, exceed sales goals, and promote the refined Ralph Lauren lifestyle. As leaders within the store, they serve as the entry point for future management roles, contributing to our brand's legacy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding needs, demonstrating product knowledge, and providing personalized styling recommendations.
  2. Develop personal business strategies to increase productivity through wardrobe consultations, outreach, and digital tools for client engagement.
  3. Support sales targets by collaborating with the team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals, maintaining brand standards.
  4. Coach and guide fellow Brand Ambassadors in customer-centric behaviors and relationship-building skills.
  5. Create genuine customer connections, offering product recommendations aligned with preferences.
  6. Understand and meet sales goals and KPIs, utilizing key tools and resources effectively.
  7. Adapt product presentations for remote or in-person customers, showing flexibility based on needs.
  8. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Polo Connect to capture customer data for clienteling and business initiatives.
  9. Participate in store and community initiatives, supporting outreach efforts.
  10. Balance multiple tasks while prioritizing the customer experience at all times.
  11. Provide feedback to management regarding category opportunities or needs.
  12. Maintain visual standards and adhere to company guidelines for store presentation.
  13. Foster a professional, positive, and inclusive work environment, embodying company values and policies.
  14. Contribute to team training and business initiatives to achieve results.
  15. Engage in sourcing and networking to support top talent recruitment.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  1. Previous sales experience in a high-volume or high-profile specialty environment is preferred.
  2. Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  3. Ability to navigate the sales floor, stockroom, and dressing areas; work with chemicals.
  4. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs., climb, and move around the store.
  5. Ability to operate registers, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  6. Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
  7. Ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  8. Experience with digital sales tools is preferred.
