Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for a temporary, full-time (up to 12 months) position of Ticket Process Administrator within Parking Services in Public Works. HRM values diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from underrepresented groups. The Ticket Process Administrator reports to the Supervisor, Parking Operations, and is responsible for parking ticket reviews, customer inquiries, data entry, prosecution file preparation, and case management related to parking enforcement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Parking Ticket Management: Analyze tickets, handle customer complaints, process service requests, data entry, and manage documentation.
  2. Adjudication: Review disputed invoices, prepare responses, manage court-related documentation, and liaise with legal services.
  3. Remedy: Review case files, process vendor invoices, manage billing, and coordinate remedy work.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 plus 1-year course in business or administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in customer service/payment processing environment.
  • At least 1 year of administrative and data entry experience.
  • Technical skills include proficiency in Word, Outlook, CityWorks, and similar software.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Act and HRM By-laws is preferred.
Additional Information:

Position is temporary (up to 12 months), full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, at a salary of $28.41/hour. Location: 2021 Brunswick Street, Halifax.
