Location: Sudbury, ON

Salary: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 80 hours bi-weekly

Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials for veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks using hand and power tools
  • Build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolds and platforms
Work conditions and physical capabilities
  • Physically demanding, handling heavy loads
  • Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Ability to work independently
