Job description

The Espanola Public Library is currently accepting applications for the Summer Library Archive position. This is a seasonal position, 35 hours per week running June through August. The position will be responsible for supporting the electronic and physical processing of local history and archival materials and will also assist with routine front-line library services. Strong communication skills are essential. Previous archival and customer service experience will be considered assets.

To be a successful candidate you must:

1.Be 18 years of age or older, or if under the age of 18 be a current SAL student.

2.Be a client of, or able to register with, Employment Options

3.Legally able to work in Canada

Provide a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen.

The wage starts at $18.00.
