The opportunity

We are seeking a self-driven Cloud Architect to plan and design technology solutions for client engagements.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will enable, drive, and lead initiatives focusing on establishing and embedding cloud architecture and design governance across the organization. Key functions include:

1. Leading initiatives for setting up cloud architecture, technology strategies, standards, governance, and best practices organization-wide.
2. Identifying the right cloud technologies for specific solutions and automating these technologies for scalable use across products and applications.
3. Architecting and designing secure, efficient, scalable, resilient, and reliable cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) that comply with EY standards and policies.
4. Designing strategies and tools for deploying, monitoring, and managing cloud applications and services.
5. Implementing DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools like VSTS, Jira, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef.
6. Building quick prototypes and exploring new technology solutions through coding.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Deep understanding of cloud computing, data technologies, and emerging trends, especially in Microsoft Azure and AWS. Expertise in designing distributed, scalable products, understanding application, infrastructure, and security architecture, and experience with IAAS and PAAS. Strong business acumen, expertise in DevOps, Agile, containers, and tools like VSTS, Jira. Familiarity with development platforms (.NET, Java, JavaScript), front-end technologies, web services, databases, and data analytics/AI technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of deep technology experience in large enterprises or web-scale companies.
• Experience in designing and supporting highly distributed cloud applications.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications; AWS and Google Cloud are also accepted.
