  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
  • 5-7+ years in industry, sales, or customer service.
  • Ability to pass criminal and credit checks.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Commercial Team, working from one of our offices located in the Southern Alberta Region on a permanent full-time basis.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Sell commercial insurance policies
  • Develop and maintain a prospect list
  • Build and nurture customer relationships, including site visits
  • Stay informed on market trends, products, and pricing
  • Prepare proposals and coordinate with insurance carriers for account placement
  • Gather and document relevant customer information for appropriate coverage and service
  • Maintain quality standards in the book of business by following underwriting rules and best practices
  • Arrange payment terms and ensure timely collection
  • Support customers during the claims process
Candidate Requirements:
  • If you possess equivalent skills, we encourage you to apply
  • High school diploma and/or post-secondary education
  • AIC Level I or II General Insurance License
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience
  • 5-7+ years in industry, sales, or customer service
  • Proficiency in EPIC, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to pass criminal and credit checks
