Marketing Event Coordinator Wanted!

We are currently seeking an energized, well-organized, and motivated mid-level operations specialist to join our Ops Team as a Marketing Event Coordinator (on-site position). The role involves managing flyer distribution operations in downtown Victoria and surrounding areas. If you are ambitious, passionate about operations, and looking to start your career with Oppizi, this is the right opportunity for you.

Full-time - 40 hours per week

Expected start: End of May/June

Locations: Victoria, BC, and surrounding suburbs

Employment type: Fixed contract. Successful candidates may be offered contract renewal or a full-time position at the end of the contract.

Salary: $1,000 CAD weekly + commissions up to $250 per week (paid weekly)

Contract duration: 4 weeks

Job Description

The ideal candidate is dynamic and will be involved in various aspects of the business, responsible for creating and executing offline marketing campaigns.

  1. Onsite Management: Oversee Brand Ambassadors, support their performance, and find ways to improve campaigns. Approximately 85-90% of your time will be dedicated to onsite management.
  2. Planning Resources: Draft weekly rosters for Brand Ambassadors, considering optimal locations based on weekly analysis.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze distribution data using Excel/Google Sheets to optimize team deployment.
  4. City Mapping: Continuously map the city to identify the best flyering locations.
  5. Inventory Management: Track campaign materials such as flyers, uniforms, and briefs using the Oppizi platform and storage facilities.
  6. Operations: Ensure smooth operations according to standards, report daily to the Ops team, confirm Brand Ambassadors, and make onsite decisions.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, requiring remote work, work at storage facilities, and live team monitoring during campaigns.
