Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager, Corporate Accounting on a full-time permanent basis within our Finance team. This position is a hybrid or remote opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan .

Are you a forward-thinking professional with a passion for financial analysis and reporting? Join our team as the Manager, Corporate Accounting, where you'll drive impactful projects and support key business units with critical budgeting, reporting, and financial insights.

What you'll do :

  • Conduct monthly analysis, prepare forecasts, and provide detailed quarterly result comparisons for organizational leadership.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with Strategic Business Units, Corporate Accounting, and Finance teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support Innovation and Supply Chain teams in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee project governance, budgeting, and cost allocation processes in collaboration with the PMO and Governance Lead to ensure long-term project sustainability.
  • Lead and mentor a team, including Corporate Accounting Analysts and Senior Project Accountants, ensuring accurate reporting, effective performance management, and support for CPA designation development.

You will work closely with the External, Internal and Budget Financial Reporting teams while maintaining two direct reports, and will report into the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Finance and :

  • Have a Bachelor of Commerce / Business, majoring in accounting.
  • Have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Have 8+ years of supervisory and accounting experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
