Position Overview

Position: Program Planning Implementation Specialist Teacher (Supporting PRES/PENTZ/NES (Home School), HA)

Reports to: Coordinator of Student Services

Employee Group: NSTU

Qualifications, Experience & Ability
  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Education Degree; Masters Degree in Special Education, Diverse Learners (SLDNE), Inclusive Education (Curriculum & Instruction), or a related field such as Literacy, Numeracy, or Technology.
  • Minimum Experience: Five (5) years successful classroom teaching; two (2) years support teaching (Resource, Learning Centre, Learning Disabilities); three (3) years experience with TIENET for Program Planning and IPPs.
  • Minimum Ability: Demonstrated ability to handle situations effectively, assessed primarily through the interview. Internal and external applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%.
