About the Role:

Are you passionate about privacy, crypto, and cutting-edge tech? We're looking for a Privacy Specialist to join our client’s Privacy Operations Team. You'll collaborate with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to help shape and secure the future of onchain privacy. What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct privacy assessments for new features and products (especially onchain/blockchain innovations).
• Translate legal privacy guidance into clear operational or technical requirements.
• Manage privacy-related issues from discovery to remediation across the product lifecycle.
• Maintain and improve privacy control frameworks, ensuring alignment with global regulations.
• Partner cross-functionally to implement Privacy by Design into engineering, marketing, and data workflows.
• Monitor risk, escalate critical findings, and push for timely resolutions.
• Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and emerging tech challenges (AI, ML, Web3, etc.).

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ years in privacy, technology risk, or cybersecurity (internships or academic projects welcome).
• Familiarity with privacy laws: CCPA, GDPR, PIPEDA, ePrivacy.
• Comfortable reviewing data flows, product specs, and system designs.
• Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and cross-functional.
• Organized, self-motivated, and hungry to grow.
• Passionate about Web3, crypto, and open financial systems.
• FinTech or Blockchain experience.
• Hands-on with frameworks like NIST Privacy, ISO 27701, or similar.
• Privacy certifications: CIPP, CIPT, CIPM.
• Experience building or auditing privacy programs or tools.
• Canada: CAD $122,600/year
• U.S.: USD $117,000 – $138,100/year
