Job Description

As a Vendor Management Consultant, you will contribute to optimizing the organization’s relationships with external vendors and suppliers. This role requires strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and relationship management expertise to drive value, minimize risk, and ensure the delivery of high-quality goods and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management and supplier performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs through data analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new vendors, including due diligence and integration with internal systems.
  • Manage vendor offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and contractual compliance.
  • Refine vendor management processes, tools, and systems for greater efficiency and transparency.
  • Implement best practices, automation tools, and process improvements to optimize workflows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors; serve as the primary contact for inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate vendor performance and compliance. Conduct regular reviews and audits.
  • Evaluate potential vendors based on needs, quality, and costs.
