Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Power Platform professional with strong technical expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies to support the implementation of enterprise level solutions. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions and can work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

As a Power Apps & Power BI Technical Lead, you will play a key role in designing and implementing components of the solution architecture, providing technical guidance to the team, and ensuring that solutions align with best practices and client needs. This is an intermediate role working with the project manager and solution architect—from discovery and early design discussions through to deployment and support.

You will collaborate closely with architects, analysts, developers, and delivery managers to help bring complex, data-driven solutions to life across diverse industries.

The Opportunity

You will report to the VP of Project Delivery and spend 80–90% of your time implementing solutions, building apps, portals and reports, and leading technical delivery across client-facing projects while also guiding developers, collaborating with business analysts, and participating in pre-sales or client workshops as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Design & Build : Help design and implement solutions using Power Apps (Canvas + Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Pages, Dataverse, and SQL.
  • Elevate Reporting : Develop effective end-to-end BI solutions that adhere to best practices, create rich Power BI dashboards with DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals.
  • Contribute to Projects : Participate in providing inputs to the project plans, estimates and scope for sales proposals and statements of work.
  • Engage with Clients : Assist with requirements gathering and documentation, hold workshops with customers, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Automate Smarter : Leverage AI Builder, Copilot, and Azure tools to deliver forward-thinking automation
  • Contribute to Growth : Participate in pre-sales, solution design, and tailoring demo creation.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI .
  • Deep experience with Power Apps :
  • Canvas apps – designing and developing responsive, role-based apps with intuitive user interfaces using formulas, custom connectors, and collections. Experience with offline capabilities, security roles, and embedding in Teams / SharePoint environments.
  • Model-Driven apps – building scalable, data-centric applications using Dataverse, complex business process flows, custom views / forms, calculated fields, and security roles.
  • Proficiency in Power Pages for designing secure, user-friendly external portals including authentication, design customization, and integration with Dataverse or APIs.
  • Strong practical experience in Power Automate – building complex flows, handling connectors (standard and premium), error handling, and automation of approvals and business logic.
  • Expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric including DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in SQL .
  • Familiarity with secure data integration and automation using Azure Logic Apps , Azure Data Factory , and REST APIs .
  • Demonstrates ability to be an effective part of a team / project while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders and executives.

As part of our hybrid working structure, we expect our team members to work from the office two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
