Casey House Foundation raises funds exclusively for Casey House, a specialty hospital providing ground-breaking holistic care for people living with and at risk of HIV. About the Opportunity

We currently have an opening for One (1) Foundation Assistant to join our team in Toronto, ON as a Summer Student on a full-time, 8-week contract.

Hours: 35 hours/week, primarily Monday to Friday

Wage: $17.20 per hour (plus 6% pay in lieu for Vacation)

Reporting to the Development Officer, the Foundation Assistant will support fundraising and event initiatives and be responsible for:

  • Building, replenishing, and monitoring a donor pipeline through prospect research, identifying new prospects, and supporting fundraisers in engagement and solicitation efforts.
  • Assisting with writing grant and sponsorship proposals, donor communications, proofreading, online applications, and thank-you letters.
  • Data entry and review in the Foundation's database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Supporting event logistics and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Participating in supervision, meetings, training, and other activities.
About You

You should be a post-secondary student enrolled in or pursuing a program related to communication, arts, fundraising, or similar fields.
