In this role as Sr Corrosion Planning Advisor, you will oversee the maintenance of corrosion prevention databases, ensure data accuracy, and perform geospatial analysis and visualization.

Note: This is a 9-month temporary (fixed-term) position with 24-hour weekly hours.

What You Will Do:

1. Enhance data accuracy and integrity through effective data governance.
2. Improve auditing and traceability of corrosion prevention records.
3. Support corrosion planning with data entries into database systems.
4. Complete data alignment and integration.
5. Design and implement database structures and solutions.
6. Enhance geospatial analysis and visualization capabilities.
7. Introduce automation for routine GIS tasks.

Who You Are:

1. Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Database Manager or similar role.
3. Proficiency in GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS and other geospatial tools.
4. Ability to write and use scripts in R and Python for spatial data analysis.
5. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., PowerBI, SQL, NoSQL, Python).
6. Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS).
7. Ability to write and use scripts in R and Python for spatial data analysis.
