Business Intelligence Developer (Contract)

TITLE: Business Intelligence Report Developer

JOB STATEMENT:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. This role involves creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations that translate complex datasets into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BI tools, SQL, and data modeling, with a keen eye for detail and business analytics. Experience in Wealth Management and Financial Services is highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Qlik and SSRS.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to develop effective reporting solutions.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses.
• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in BI solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Provide documentation and training for end-users on BI tools and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and trends to improve reporting solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in BI development, data visualization, and reporting.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, SSRS, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to generate meaningful insights.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, or DAX.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
