Job description

We are recruiting Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to add to a nursing support team caring for pediatric client overnight, to provide respite for the day-to-day care needs, caring for a child with medical needs. The position is located in Campbell River, BC. This job will entail providing 1 : 1 respite care in the home environment.

Responsibilities may include : personal care, medication administration, tube feeds, oximetry monitoring, documentation, ongoing assessments, mobility assistance.

Qualifications :

Current 'practicing' registration with BCCNM

Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better

Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
