A leading company in natural resources is seeking a Millwright for its Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and performing mechanical tasks such as aligning couplings and changing bearings. About Glencore’s Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations
Sudbury, Ontario, Canada is one of the most geologically rich areas of the world. This northern city in the Canadian Shield boasts a 60-kilometre-long formation called the Sudbury basin, which is brimming with nickel, copper, cobalt, gold, silver, platinum, and palladium deposits. It’s also been home to Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations (Sudbury INO) since 1929. Our Sudbury operations include exploration, underground mines, a mill, and a smelter, and Onaping Depth, a deep mine project at Craig Mine, all located in this basin. We currently employ more than 1,200 permanent employees and support another 1,200 contractors.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Millwright to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. This is a Permanent position.
Duties and Accountabilities
About You
Working at our Sudbury Operations, the successful candidate must adhere to our core values on safety performance in the workplace. At least 3 years of recent, relevant experience and possess a valid driver's license.
Your personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your success in this role.
Education
Must have an Industrial Mechanic – Millwright Certificate of Apprenticeship and Certificate of Qualification.
