Business Analyst, Corporate Treasury

Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their Corporate Treasury team for an initial 9 month contract. This role is currently hybrid in Toronto.

The candidate will be working with the Funds Transfer Pricing team within Corporate Treasury to replace the current internal FTP calculation engine.

Responsibilities Include:

• Utilize various scripts to extract data that will drive business decisions
• Run SQL scripts
• Run Python scripts
• Python Automation
• Input raw data results into Excel and format them
• Check and validate data before it is sent out
• Involved in UAT testing based on system results

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years experience with SQL & Python
• Strong understanding of Excel [VLOOKUPS, PivotTables, etc.]
• Excellent critical thinking, organization, and written and oral communication skills
• Experience at a major financial institution (Nice to Have)
• A degree in Business or Computer Science (Nice to Have)
