Job Title : Paid Social Video Editor & Marketing Coordinator

Location : Remote or Hybrid (Montreal based)

Type : Full-Time

Salary : $60,000 – $80,000 CAD / year (based on experience)

Aplo Group is a performance marketing agency that helps eCommerce brands scale through paid social, paid search, landing page development, and retention marketing. We work with fast-growing DTC brands and are known for being both creative and data-driven.

We’re looking for a Paid Social Video Editor & Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role combining short-form video editing with ad platform coordination. You’ll be hands-on in crafting high-performing ad creatives and also managing the behind-the-scenes setup and organization inside platforms like Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.

What You’ll Do : Video Editing

  • Edit engaging short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
  • Use existing brand assets, UGC clips, voiceovers, and product shots to create high-performing ad creatives
  • Work closely with our media buyers and strategists to iterate on concepts and test variations
  • Stay up-to-date with creative trends and platform best practices

Ad Coordination & Uploading

  • Upload and organize ads inside Meta, TikTok, and other ad platforms
  • Work with internal media buyers to ensure proper naming conventions, URL tracking, and creative rotation

What We’re Looking For :

  • 2+ years of experience editing short-form video for paid social
  • Familiarity with ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and how ad uploading / structuring works
  • Proficiency in some of the following tools Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar tools (Bonus : After Effects)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns at once
  • Strong understanding of what makes a scroll-stopping creative for direct response
  • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously with a fast-moving team

Nice to Have (Not Required) :

  • Experience with UGC-style content
  • Experience working at an agency or with multiple eComm brands
  • Basic knowledge of performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
