Agricorp is looking for an Executive Financial Coordinator to join the Corporate Services division. The Executive Financial Coordinator provides coordination, administration, issues and relationship management to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and other senior professionals. This pivotal role also supports senior leadership at Agricorp.

The Role

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide consistent administrative support to CFO in their role in chairing committees (i.e. agenda setting, calendar management, minute taking, meeting materials preparation) for the following:
    • Resource Planning Committee
    • Enterprise Risk Analysis Committee
  • Assemble documentation and presentation materials of a highly sensitive, confidential and complex financial nature on behalf of the CFO and other divisional leaders
  • Participate in preparing for other corporate governance committees and Corporate Services divisional meetings
  • Create and maintain a system of information management (filing and retrieval) that takes into account the sensitive and confidential nature of data and need for accuracy
  • Manage calendar deadlines and reporting requirements related to the overall activities calendar and financial reporting commitments set out in program agreements
  • Participate and contribute to ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Job status: 12 month contract

Salary: $62,463 - $73,485

Work status: Full time in office and hybrid work arrangements are available

Location: Must live in Ontario to perform this role

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education (degree, diploma, certificate) in business, finance, administration or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ supporting a senior Finance leader (CFO)
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior management teams, governance committees, working with a board
  • Experience producing and contributing to financial documentation and reports
  • Proficient use of AdobeSign & Microsoft Office software (Sharepoint, MS Planner)
  • Public sector experience, an asset
  • Project management experience, an asset
