Job Opportunity: Ramp Coordinator at Executive Aviation

Executive Aviation is excited to announce that we are hiring Ramp Coordinators for our Kelowna Below the Wing team. In this role, you will provide around-the-clock leadership and support to our airline partners and team members, acting as the "go-to" person for addressing challenges faced by our Leads. You will work closely with the Above the Wing team, GSE department, and maintain strong relationships with airline partners and the airport authority. We seek a dynamic problem solver, a progressive thinker, and someone with a proven ability to create efficiencies in operations.

This position reports to the General Manager and requires working weekends and nights.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Organize ramp activities—setup, manpower assignment, shift briefings, inventory management of auxiliary equipment
  • Support airline operations through the safe movement of baggage and ground equipment
  • Complete and maintain competency on all required equipment and airline processes through proper training
  • Work shifts as scheduled, including nights and weekends
  • Ensure safety as a team—manage incident responses, conduct audits, and participate in SMS training
  • Manage attendance—schedule coverage, contact lists, coaching, and documentation via email
  • Act as the communication point for airlines, airport, and EA leads during operations
  • Support training activities—shadow shifts, pushback, load planning, flight organization, incident management
  • Handle specialized tasks as needed based on team requirements
  • Adapt to changing environments and weather conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Current training, read and sign documentation up to date
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid RAIC or Security clearance for airside access
