We're Hiring: Content & Podcast Production Assistant (Part-Time Contractor)

Location: Barrie, ON – In-Person Required 1x/week

Are you a creative with strong video editing skills and a passion for health, wellness, and movement? Join the team behind the AMT System & Tom Swales, a leading physiotherapist, educator, and podcast host and help bring high-impact content to life.

We're looking for a Content & Podcast Production Assistant to support weekly filming, editing, and posting across YouTube, Instagram, and podcast platforms.

What You'll Do:
  • Attend 1 in-person recording session per week to capture video/audio content.
  • Collaborate on creative content ideas that align with Tom’s expertise and message.
  • Suggest trends, hooks, or new formats to boost engagement and reach.
  • Edit long-form podcast and YouTube episodes (1/week).
  • Create short-form video clips (Reels/Shorts/TikToks) from recorded content.
  • Upload and schedule content to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.
  • Add engaging titles, descriptions, and post captions (templates provided).
  • Maintain a weekly social media posting schedule and track basic analytics.
  • Stay organized with project files, media libraries, and delivery timelines.

Weekly Time Commitment:
  • Estimated 12–15 hours/week.
  • Flexible schedule for editing tasks but must be available in person 1x/week for recordings in Barrie.

Compensation:
  • $25–$35/hour, depending on experience and skill level.
  • Paid monthly as a contractor (must invoice).

You’re a Great Fit If You:
  • Have experience with video and audio editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar).
  • Are comfortable filming with camera/mic setup or eager to learn.
  • Know how to format content for social platforms and use a social calendar (YouTube, IG Reels, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Are organized, deadline-driven, and communicative.
  • Have a passion for wellness, human performance, or rehab (bonus!).
