Job Description: The Coordinator of Retention (Sophomore) Boost/PLTL/Academic Advisor/Success Specialist position will aid in the coordination and support of the center’s operations pertaining to the academic success of and retention efforts for a diverse range of students. Responsibilities include:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. Experience/training in one or more of the following areas is required: education, teaching, academic advising. Demonstrated leadership experience in a university setting is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s degree is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required. Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines are essential. Must be team-oriented and willing to serve on committees within the university.
