Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. This 12-week apprenticeship role involves utilizing your skills to support our mining team.

Impact and Responsibilities
  1. Integrate current data collection methods into a live program accessible to multiple teams.
  2. Complete all required documentation.
  3. Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation; report issues to site management and supervisors.
Qualifications
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • 4th-year student enrolled in an engineering program at an Alberta institution.
Experience
  • Fluent in English (native or bilingual).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent writing and grammar skills.
  • Experience in software creation and/or data compilation.
Role Details
  • Daytime hours, Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm, or Monday-Thursday 8am to 6pm.
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits may include pension plans, medical/dental/life insurance, Health Savings Account, among others.
