Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a highly skilled technical lead to enhance their ServiceNow CMDB capabilities. In this pivotal role, you will assess current configurations, identify improvement opportunities, and establish a roadmap for enhancements. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will guide the project from inception through to operation, ensuring a smooth transition and effective communication throughout. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical lead for ServiceNow implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow CMDB.

  • Troubleshoot and debug existing CMDB interfaces.
  • Document key technical decisions and report on development progress.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) assessments and develop a roadmap for enhancements and stabilization.
  2. Identify opportunities for improving the quality of data in the CMDB.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug existing CMDB interfaces and improve them.
  4. Establish a technical project plan with key milestones and provide status updates.
  5. Create ServiceNow epics and stories.
  6. Document key technical decisions, issues, and enhancements throughout the development lifecycle.
  7. Report on development work progress.
  8. Ensure smooth transition from development to operation by working with the support team.
  9. Provide guidance and expertise to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  10. Communicate and collaborate with project team members and stakeholders.
  11. Perform other related activities and deliverables as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technical lead for ServiceNow implementations.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the ServiceNow CMDB.
Education:
  1. University degree or college diploma in business administration, statistics, or a related field.
