Responsibilities Tasks
  • Consult with family of deceased regarding funeral and related services
  • Inform survivors of benefits
  • Schedule work of other staff
  • Issue death notices to newspapers
  • Maintain and order supplies
  • Co-ordinate burials and cremations
  • Complete legal documentation
  • Pre-arrange funerals
  • Arrange for transfer of remains from place of death to funeral home
  • Work with minimal supervision
