The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Tasks may include appointment scheduling, answering, and returning patient calls, and coordinating daily office activities. This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.15 to $19.07. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
