Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Restaurant Team Leader to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a leader, you will guide your team to deliver an outstanding dining experience while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company policies.
  2. Supervise and train staff in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
  3. Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
  4. Assist in the development of staff schedules and manage labor costs effectively.
  5. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  7. Operate the POS system efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions and reporting.
  8. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is preferred.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  3. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  4. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  6. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and equipment usage.
  7. Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  1. Day shift
  2. Evening shift
  3. Morning shift
  4. Weekends as needed

Education:

  1. Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  1. Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

  1. English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  1. Smart Serve (preferred)
