Here's how an Administrative Assistant for our Toronto District office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Work with the executive assistant to provide a seamless work environment for the regional office management team (President, VPs, and SMT)
  • Develop and maintain customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders
  • Email and calendar management - multiple
  • Meetings: scheduling, preparation, and minutes
  • Event Planning
  • Travel management and expense reporting
  • Office supply and equipment management
  • Executive mail distribution and courier requests
  • General administrative support for manager and colleague
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with over 5 years relevant experience; post-secondary degree an asset
  • Proficient in English: verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Accurate and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workflow to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents/presentations with appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy and deadlines
  • Proficient in various Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneNote
