POSITION SUMMARY

Motor Coach Industries (MCI), North America’s top motor coach manufacturer, is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Assemblyperson. In this role you will install, assemble and test an assortment of coach components within the company set Takt time. Throughout all aspects of this role you will promote a safe working environment and comply with all HS&E regulations including following all Plant and Plant Safety rules. No prior experience in this specific role is necessary—we're willing to provide full training to the right candidate.

  • This position offers a starting wage of $18.92 per hour. In addition to the starting rate, employees are eligible for an anniversary increase and annual wage adjustments in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Install, assemble and test various coach components while promoting a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for using various hand, air and power tools including but not limited to drills, impact guns, grinders, sanders and torque wrenches.
  • Responsible for following all work instructions and reading blueprints where applicable.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Read and understand work instructions, interpret blueprints or drawings, previous manufacturing experience considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of shop floor safety.
