Job description

Permanent Dock Forklift Operator - Start Immediately - Afternoon Shift

• Afternoon Shift: 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday to Friday, at least 3-4 days)

Pay Rate: $21.15 / hr.

MUST HAVE: Counterbalance license with cross dock experience

Location: Dorval (Near Montreal Airport)

Must know English.

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Safely and accurately select customer orders, build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Hand stack cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly from floor to overhead.
• Shrink wrap orders with labels and move completed orders to the loading dock using electronic pallet jacks or walkie-rider equipment.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct products are selected and damage-free.
• Receive inbound products accurately and replenish inventory as needed.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate material handling equipment safely (pallet jack / forklift).
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing sanitation duties, clearing debris, stacking empty pallets, and returning pallet jacks to the charging area.
• Observe all safety policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 55 lbs).
• Experience with forklift and electric pallet jacks is an asset.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
