Tasks:

1. Assign sales workers to duties.
2. Authorize return of merchandise.
3. Sell merchandise.
4. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
5. Organize and maintain inventory.
6. Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
7. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
8. Manage staff and assign duties.
9. Determine staffing requirements.
10. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
