Qualifications

Job description

  • Cooperate with a mixed team of professionals: engineers, planners, scientists, and a technical and administrative support team.
  • Exemplify proficiency in functional and intricate design (CADD design) of transportation and municipal infrastructure, including water supply, sewers, roads, land development site servicing, drainage, and waste management elements.

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed

  • Hold a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and valid registration as a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) or Certified Technician (CTech) in Ontario.
  • Have 2-5 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering and/or municipal environments.

Experience

  • Practical experience in functional and detailed design drawings of civil and municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, sewers, watermains, and drainage works.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; working knowledge of Microstation / InRoads is a plus.
  • Understanding of project design and implementation activities such as developing design drawings and reports, contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
