Job summary

Cognizant in Toronto is seeking an E2E Testing Lead to own and drive end-to-end testing strategy for Finance Transformation, aligning multiple workstreams and ensuring go-live readiness. You will manage governance, traceability, and risk across Oracle Financials and integrations.

The role requires 10+ years of QA experience with leadership in large programmes, strong Oracle Finance testing, and the ability to translate technical quality concerns for executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in a senior testing leadership role on large-scale programmes.
• 5+ years of professional software testing experience, focused on Oracle Financials ERP testing and validation.
• Hands-on functional testing across GL, AP, AR, Cash Management.
• Proven track record owning end-to-end test strategy on enterprise-grade transformations.
• Experience on Oracle programmes in finance/actuarial contexts and testing of accounting flows.
• Experience with cloud-native or cloud-migration programmes and test design impacts.
• Experience leading QA teams, workload planning and performance management.
• Data migration testing and system integration testing across multi-vendor landscapes.
• Strong testing methodologies knowledge (functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance).
• Proficiency with QA tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders; strong analytical and risk mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing efforts for Oracle Financials ERP implementations, upgrades, quarterly updates, and enhancements.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases for core financial workflows.
• Own programme-level E2E quality outcomes for Oracle releases and provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Develop and govern the end-to-end test strategy across multiple workstreams.
• Lead creation/review of high-quality E2E test scenarios and traceability to requirements.
• Align E2E testing to milestones and ensure readiness for go-live.
• Coordinate testing activities across parallel workstreams and manage dependencies.
• Coordinate with test leads to ensure end-to-end quality across solution and integrations.
