Our client, a recognized leader in the building envelope industry, is seeking a Tapered Insulation Manager to oversee and grow this specialized segment of their business. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and strategic professional who enjoys collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver customized, high-performance solutions.

What You’ll Do

In this key role, you’ll lead the national tapered insulation division, working closely with architects, contractors, and sales representatives to design and deliver project-specific solutions. You’ll bring your technical expertise and leadership to the table to ensure timely, accurate estimates and layouts, while driving process improvements and supporting team development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and lead the tapered insulation team and operations nationwide
• Create tapered insulation designs, drainage plans, and layout drawings for commercial roofing projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team and clients
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to stay up to date on product innovations
• Improve internal systems, tools, and workflows to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Train and mentor junior team members

What We’re Looking For :

We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of tapered insulation systems and commercial roofing, combined with solid leadership and organizational skills. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy balancing technical challenges with client support.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in tapered insulation design or commercial roofing
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and grow a team
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, insulation specs, and drainage design
• Familiarity with CAD software or tapered layout programs (an asset)
• Bilingualism (French / English) is an advantage, though not mandatory
