Overview:

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: None.
  • Experience: None.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Prior Hospital Environmental service experience.
    • Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions.
    • Previous experience with performing manual tasks.
    • Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
  • Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
