Senior Maintenance Engineer - PE
The purpose of the Senior Maintenance Engineer role is to provide leadership to the maintenance departments responsible for equipment, property, buildings, and facilities for a manufacturing plant or multiple manufacturing plants. The role is primarily responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting best safety and environmental practices; identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving process or maintenance issues; maintaining, repairing, and updating all production equipment systems and facilities; managing and controlling maintenance costs; and overseeing and maintaining equipment performance. This position works for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Manage a preventive/predictive maintenance system.
- Maintain an effective preventative maintenance schedule and control mechanical inventories. Encourage good work habits and promote safety.
- Support by working cross-functionally with internal support departments and occasionally with external manufacturing to drive project completion.
- Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing process and details of the associated hands-on operating requirements.
- Investigate and coordinate the resolution of deviations through the comprehensive use of Root Cause Analysis tools, in conjunction with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to write and/or revise SOPs, batch records, technical reports, and other operational documents, as required.
- Generate training materials and conduct training for manufacturing staff.
- Generate and manage metrics.
- Coordinate equipment downtime, MTTR, MTBF, 3R5S, improvement initiatives, and attendance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process or maintenance problems, developing action plans to improve reliability and uptime.
- Identify new technology for current and future assets, assisting with user requirements, procurement, and implementation.
- Identify and implement maintenance, safety, and environmental practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience and/or education.
- Minimum five years of technical experience in engineering.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Good understanding of Robotics, PLC, and VFDs.
- Some knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP related to Maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a passion for problem-solving and team leadership to provide solutions that deliver value.
- Ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
- Team player, open to critiques and suggestions.
- Willing to go beyond the job description and assist where needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
