A division of Harris, AGO Insurance Software, Inc., is seeking an outgoing Cold Caller who enjoys talking to people. You will need a positive attitude and be quick on your feet to respond to prospects appropriately. Good customer relationship management skills and persistence are key to success. Good organizational skills for follow-up are crucial. If you have an ambitious, positive, can-do attitude, outgoing spirit, and enjoy finding business solutions for others, this can be a fulfilling job for you.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US, with a preference for the EST timezone. The role involves working 20 hours per week on a 4 to 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Typical duties and responsibilities
  1. Cold call P&C Insurance Carrier / MGA Administrator or Operations Manager
  2. Track your contact list provided by the company
  3. Explain products and services to prospects
  4. Keep track of potential prospects for follow-up or no longer want to be contacted
  5. Hand off qualified prospects to the product manager
  6. Meet the goals set forth by the company
  7. Assist with organic growth of the prospect list
Education and experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
Required skills and qualifications
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Ability to deal with rejection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and data entry skills
  • High level of personal accountability

Preferred qualifications
  • 1-2 years or more of experience as a cold caller, in sales, or customer service

Wage: Up to $25/hr
