An established industry player is offering a full-time training opportunity for aspiring nurses. This position offers a regular full-time training opportunity (theory and practicum) to prepare staff for work in a specific Island Health specialty department. Upon successful completion, staff will be placed into a full-time rotation within the designated department.
Important Note: There is an 18-month return of service requirement as a regular/permanent employee within the same specialty department. Staff may transfer between departments within that specialty. Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate. Provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in hospital or community settings, following the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
