A leading company in logistics is seeking a reliable Courier to operate delivery vehicles and ensure efficient package handling. Job Duties
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the station's service area is preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.
Job Conditions
Neat appearance required as customer contact is involved. Must meet qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations and pass medical exams as per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license per state requirements and have a good driving record. This is a safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Schedule
Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
Preferred Qualifications
Competitive pay range: $24.57 - $38.16. Compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.
