What will you be doing!
  1. Qualification & Selection of Contractors:
    • Providing support to projects regarding the development of the Scope of Work.
    • Supporting hazard identification related to Contractor Management and construction matters.
    • Ensuring contractors are fully aware of the contract's Health and Safety requirements and safety specifications.
    • Collaborating with Contract Officers/Contract Managers and Contract Administrators:
      • Ensuring the involvement of Construction and other relevant functions in establishing appropriate requirements.
      • Supporting and driving Construction input for contractor evaluations, including assessing Supervisory Competency, Safety Plans, and Execution Methodology.
      • Participating in contractor competency evaluations as required.
  2. What we are looking for:
    • Education: A University Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Law, and/or Economics or equivalent. PMAC, SCMAO, PMP, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent are assets.
    • Experience: 10+ years in contracting, procurement, and supply chain management, or equivalent in a senior or lead contracting/negotiating role.
    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to resolve complex issues, develop strategic relationships, and communicate effectively.
    • Security Clearance: Eligibility for Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (minimum 3-5 years verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the US, or the UK).
