Full Time Front of House Team Lead, adidas retail Store Woodbridge (#2062)
Purpose :
Assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their needs, promote merchandise sales by exceeding productivity standards, and maintain awareness of product requirements, promotions, advertising, inventory, and customer service. Responsible for accurate and complete sales transactions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist customers with adidas merchandise, providing information about product features, materials, technology, and functionality.
- Uphold adidas’ customer service standards by listening to customer needs and providing relevant product information.
- Drive and close sales using adidas’ selling techniques and the in-store AOS system (where available).
- Maintain store appearance, assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, and handle customer inquiries.
- Have proficient knowledge of adidas’ products, programs, promotions, and advertising.
- Support and foster a team environment by respecting colleagues.
- Adhere to adidas’ brand values and sales competencies.
- Assist with telephone duties.
- Follow inventory control policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Exhibit competencies relevant to the position consistently.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions, memos, and correspondence.
- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic arithmetic skills for handling sales transactions.
- Apply common sense to follow instructions in various formats.
- Problem-solving skills involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Basic understanding of point of sale systems and cash procedures.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime during peak periods.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 34 kg occasionally and 12 kg regularly.
- Proficiency in English and French, verbal and written.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred; retail experience of 3-6 months is advantageous.
