Senior Substation Communication Engineer

Role Overview

In this role, you will :

• Coordinate the work of design engineers within multidisciplinary teams throughout project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings.
• Assume technical leadership within project teams.
• Participate in code compliance reviews with governing agencies.
• Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document sessions at project sites.
• Manage workload to ensure timely project deliverables.
• Collaborate with project management on reviews and project updates.
• Mentor engineering staff and oversee activities of other professionals.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in substation communication, with SCADA engineering expertise.
• Experience with engineering consulting firms is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Extensive project execution experience in the Power Market Sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Market Sector design software such as PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit.
