Job description

Store - PETERBOROUGH, ON

Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and ensure they find what they need. Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling according to standards. Complete truck unloading, merchandise duties, and maintain store recovery standards to uphold our Brand Promises.

  1. Help customers shop, locate products, and offer solutions.
  2. Ensure a quick and friendly checkout; handle cash transactions properly.
  3. Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; assist with enrollments.
  4. Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  5. Support Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  6. Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
  7. Manage merchandise recovery, returns, and store maintenance to keep the store well-merchandised and stocked.
  8. Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  9. Support shrinkage and safety initiatives.
  10. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure legal and safety compliance.
  11. Interact respectfully with others, maintain a positive attitude, promote the organization's vision and values, and serve as a role model.
  12. Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Move throughout the store as needed.
  • Perform bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and using ladders or equipment to access high shelves.
  • Work in climate-controlled environments; some outdoor work and work in specialized areas like the Frame shop.
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Applicants must meet legal requirements and be at least 16 years old.
