Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a Production Assembly Technician on behalf of our client located in Etobicoke, ON. This is a temporary contract role with the possibility of becoming permanent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing cartridges or sub-assemblies while following approved assembly procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to work with specialized equipment like microscopes and hand tools are essential.

Pay rate : $20 / hour.

Location : Etobicoke, ON

Shifts : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Job type : Temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent | Full-time Here's why you should apply :

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :

Visually inspecting, assembling, and testing cartridges or sub-assemblies using approved assembly procedures.

Following all work instructions and procedures and recording all production information as required.

Using a computer to perform tests, download information, or record test data.

Working with a microscope for extended periods to ensure precision in assembly and testing.

Utilizing and maintaining hand tools and various types of equipment for assembly and testing.

Demonstrating good hand-eye coordination and stable hands for delicate component assembly.

Adhering to gowning protocols as required to maintain cleanliness in the workspace.

Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requirements :

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Attention to detail and the ability to work with small, delicate components.

Good communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to use a computer for data entry and to perform tests.

Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) columns or microfluidics assembly is a plus.
