Job Description:

  1. Develop Linux device drivers for Ethernet, PCIe and other interfaces.
  2. Contribute to Open Source projects.
  3. Participate in the design, development, and integration of user and kernel level software for Ethernet networking support, including L2 switching, TSN and RDMA.
  4. Collaborate with others in functional and system level testing.
  5. Create documentation such as design documents, user manuals, and release notes for delivered components.
  6. Communicate and collaborate with other internal development teams and ecosystem partners.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  2. 10+ years of related work experience in Software development for embedded systems.
  3. Solid experience with Linux kernel and driver development.
  4. Expert knowledge of C and working knowledge of Python.
  5. Experience with ARM or RISC-V is an asset.
  6. Knowledge of secure boot concepts.
  7. Knowledge of virtualization internals, such as with KVM/XEN, is an asset.
  8. Experience with RTOS environments is an asset.
  9. Demonstrated experience developing high quality code from concept through to production.
  10. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  11. Strong interpersonal skills, experience as part of a collaborative development team.

Travel Time: 0% - 25%

The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $226,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
